WWDC: Apple Debuts New Look Mac Pro – Futuristic new Design

Apple has been taking to the stage at their annual WWDC event in San Francisco where they revealed their long rumored new Mac Pro. The new Mac desktop computer was unveiled at the event and it takes a wide step away from the design of the older Macs.

First things first, its Shape… more importantly its new shape, which is cylinder, and its much smaller than any previous versions of the Mac Pro. It sports a 12-core, 256-bit Intel Xeon processor with 1,866MHz DDR3 RAM.

The tower will be 2.5 times more powerful than it predecessor and it will measure up at exactly 9.9-inches tall and will also come standard with dual AMD FirePro GPUs, which can support up to three 4K displays at once.

Its also got 20 GBps Thunderbolt 2 for memory expansion and it provides a new gigabit ethernet, USB 3.0 and HDMI Out.

The new Mac Pro will ship this autumn although Apple have yet to confirm official pricing and release date.

One things to be sure of, the new Mac Pro is an amazing looking piece of kit and we are sure that Apple will price it high to back up its newly designed Pro.
