Swiftpoint – the smallest mouse ever?

Ok, if you’re like me I hate using the touch pad on laptops, give me a mouse any day – the only problem though, some are quite big and don’t really look that good alongside your little notebook, plus you don’t always have the room to properly use it out and about either.

Well fear not, as these grievances may become a thing of the past thanks to a cool new product called Swiftpoint. Although, the design is not completely like your conventional mouse, it certainly looks ergonomically friendly which should help you navigate using your laptop/notepad quicker than using the  touch pad would – in fact according to the demo video, it’s up to 40% more efficient than a touch pad.

Along with its cool design, the specification is also quite impressive as well, like the rapid charge feature – 30 seconds charge will last for up to an hour, a full charge should last between 2 – 4 week with normal use.

Probably the main thing that makes this stand out from a normal mouse is the “SlideScroll” feature, basically this allows you to scroll much more effectively than your standard mouse by tilting the Swiftpoint. If you’re interested on how this works, there is a video demo available on their website www.europe.futuremouse.com.

So, if you want to get your hands on one of these, because, like me, you also hate touch pad’s you can get it directly from the website address above.

Be warned though, the Swiftpoint certainly isn’t the cheapest mouse in the world at  £67.45, but if it allows you to avoid using that annoying touch pad it’s probably worth the price.
