Samsung unleash 2 new Cameras and 2 new Camcorders

Yesterday Samsung announced its latest updates to its Compact Camera and Digital Pocket camera ranges by releasing information on its new and EX1 and WB2000 cameras and the updated U15 and U20 pocket camcorders.

Samsung WB2000

Firstly Samsung unveiled its compact HD capturing WB2000. The WB2000 is a 10 megapixel camera with a full 1080p HD video recorder, with a 1,000fps recording speed.

The WB2000’s hardware features a 24mm ultra-wide angle lens with a 5x optical zoom, 3-inch AMOLED screen, RAW support and both auto and manual controls.

Second to the WB2000’s release Samsung also announced the latest in their high end range, the EX1.

Samsung EX1

The EX1 is a 10 megapixel camera a Schneider KREUZNACH, F1.8. 24mm ultra-wide angle lens,  a large sensor allowing sensitivity up to ISO 3200. The Camera also has a 3-inch, swivelling AMOLED screen, 3x optical zoom, and RAW support.

The EX1 is set to be Samsungs next Flagship Camera and currently has a release date of April, with the WB2000 to be released in Q2 of the year.

Not  satisfied with Announcing only new Cameras Samsung also announce 2 new pocket Camcorders in its U range, the Samsung U15 and U20.

The models follow on from last year’s U10 pocket camcorder with its flip out USB and full HD 1080p video capture. The U15 has a 14 megapixel capable camera and the U20 has a slightly smaller 10 megapixel camera but has the addition of a 3x optical zoom.

The U15 and U20 both have Hyper Image Stabilisation and a 2-inch screen to get the best possible recording,  plus  touch controls and HDMI output.

The U20 is scheduled to be released in March with the U15 following in May, Both are available in black, silver, blue or red colour variations but there is currently no pricing information.
