Well we didn’t expect this today but Rockstar Games have gone and officially announced that it is working on and nearly ready to show off its latest Grand Theft Auto game in the GTA franchise by putting a big ol’ banner on the homepage of http://www.rockstargames.com/ website!
Navigating your way to the site will show you a full GTA V banner with a tantalising footnote of “Trailer 11.02.11”, which we are assuming is in the American date format, as Rockstar have not yet finalised time travel.
GTA 3 is currently in the midst of its 10 year anniversary and now is definitely a great time to get the word of a new GTA game out there. We’re extremely excited for the trailer and for the full game!
The last full Grand Theft Auto game was GTA4 which was released on PS3 and Xbox 360 back in 2008 to wild critical acclaim, selling over six million copies worldwide.
Since then Rockstar have released 2 full playable add on packs which nearly double the game in size.
All we now know is that on Wednesday 2nd November we are going to be super excited.
