I’m sure by the end of this article I won’t be the only one left wondering why other countries get the best gadgets before the UK does.
Those lucky folk over in Korea have today been treated to the release of an Android superphone. The Pantech Vega N5 has a specifications list that would put almost any other Android smartphone to shame, and we want to get our hands on it!
Sporting Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) and an incredibly fast 1.5GHz dual-core processor from Qualcomm, this is an incredibly fast and capable mobile phone. It also features a whopping 1GB of DDR2 RAM along with 16GB of internal storage.
Screen size is taken to the next level, with a 5-inch LCD screen taking pride of place on the front of this phone. Despite the large size, the device retains a very respectable 800 x 480 pixels resolution, so images will be crisp and clear.
An 8-megapixel camera adorns the rear of the case, capable of shooting video in full HD 1080p quality. Playing back your full HD videos will be smooth and clear thanks to the sheer speed of the processor and the resolution of the screen.
Connectivity comes in the form of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi hotspot and HSDPA 3G data speeds.
The Pantech Vega N5 goes on sale today in Korea, but that’s the only market that will get to buy this beauty unfortunately. The price is around 550 euro.
