LG G3 Mini Possible Specifications Leaked

LG’s G3 has gone down very well with critics and consumers alike, with generally positive reception online, despite some feeling unsure about the camera. With its flashy hardware, which makes it a monster in terms of computing power, and the very popular metallic coating, the G3 has turned quite a few heads after being released at the end of last month.

Now, a website called Zauba, which records imports and exports of phones and other devices, have released specs for an LGD722 here which details a device which might well be the purported LG G3 Mini.

The device specified on the website is listed as a ‘Sample phone’ with a 4.5-inch display, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, 8GB of internal storage and a 5MP camera. The low megapixel count of the camera seems tp not correlate with current rumors about the Mini, with an earlier leak detailing the camera at 8MP.

However, this ‘sample model’ may just be for test purposes, and the camera may include a larger MP count on the eventual release. Zauba has been a reliable source of accurate information on new releases of phones and other items before, so hopefully this information on the mini is accurate.

The MIni G3 has als been rumored to include the new Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system, with the LG Optimus skin built over the OS, as is usual fare from LG. The earlier leak tipped the phone to have a 3264 x 2248 screen resolution, which is why many are anticipating an 8MP camera.

The full-size LG G3 is going to arrive in the next few weeks, and the verdict is that the phone is a strong forward move for LG, boasting some of the fastest speeds around and an original design. But what do you think? Is the G3 worth the hype, or will you be waiting for the Mini? Tell us in the comments section below.
