iPad UK Release Date Confirmed for March and April

Just when we thought the UK would have to wait until the summer to receive one the must have gadgets for 2010, Apple have announced that the Apple iPad will be coming to the UK soon.

During the announcement of the Apple iPad on January 27th, Apple’s chief, Mr Jobs did reveal that an international release hadn’t been confirmed but many predicted that it would likely be the summer. However, it has been confirmed on the Apple site that the company will be selling the WiFi version of the iPad in the UK from March and the 3G version will follow on in April.

So with the release of the Apple iPad just around the corner, it has yet to be disclosed about who will be the official UK carrier of the Apple tablet device.  However, with the release just around the corner, it does make you wonder whether Apple are deliberately trying to push the release of the iPad forward to make way for their next generation Apple phone, the iPhone 4G, which is rumoured to be released in July time.

Further to this, there’s a lot of people disappointed with the iPad’s lack of camera, embedded flash amongst many other things, so I wonder how many of us will dip deep into our pockets to buy an iPad? Or are we likely to wait for the release of the rumoured iPhone 4G, which is mean to offer a whole host of revolutionary features?
